Quick release broke very quickly, otherwise held up for extended use.

I own and frequently use 2 of these bladders (this and the 3L version) . I've them daily for about 6 month in the past year. 2 of the 4 quick release points on them broke (still attached and water flows, but no longer releases). Other than that, no problems, leaks or tears.
I love all the features, two type of opening, quick release, insulated tube, bite valve cap. Only thing missing is the magnetic clip.

Solid, can take my direct weight, and airsoft BB's, and keep on ticking.

This bladder held up to several hours of airsoft gameplay, which included me (225lbs) rolling over it several times, and being shot point-blank by a newbie with automatic on. I wore it within the 'YAKEDA Tactical CS Field Vest Outdoor Ultra-light Breathable Combat Training Vest For Adults 600D Encryption Polyester-VT-1063' (boy that's a long title). Why the -1 star? It was the color I ordered. I ordered the cyote, but it came with what I can only imagine is the foliage (more tan vs grey/black). Had I ordered that color, I would have given it a 5-star. If they decide to send me a cyote (or black) I'll update this rating. Otherwise, still a great buy.
Works fine.

Light weight and holds a decent amount of water.
I especially like the anti-microbial coating to keep the water pure.
I would still wash it out and let it dry between uses - maybe use Eferdent for cleaning, too. (cleans and disinfects dentures - saw this idea on a hiking site).

Kept me watery!

I had bought a cheap hydration bladder at Walmart to put in my geocaching pack. The bite valve on that thing made getting a drink of water like sucking on a freshly made milkshake. Way too much effort required. This hydration system worked very well. I like that the top opens all the way, it makes filling the bladder with ice a lot easier. I also purchased the Source Tactical Helix high flow bite valve. No sucking on a milkshake with this setup! It took very little effort to get the water flowing.
Love these water bladders-- this is the second I've purchased ...

Love these water bladders-- this is the second I've purchased so that I have a spare on hand. My hobbies put a good bit of stress on these guys and so far they've stood up to the test. I love sliding clip at the top that makes it easier to clean and still keeps it watertight. Same thing for the removable hose. I think my favorite aspect when compared to other bladders is that the hose and mouthpiece are wide enough to allow quick drinking without feeling like I have to work for it-- crucial in high-exertion situations.
