I am in love with this seasoning! It definitely pairs well with Butler's soy curls. I've struggled to find good vegetarian seasonings and this one definitely fits the bill. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the high sodium content; if it were lower in sodium, then I would give it 5 stars. I'm hoping they make a low sodium version soon (fingers crossed!). In the meantime, I'll be buying more of this - delicious!

This seasoning really packs a punch and is downright tasty but beware, at manufacturer's recommended rate for seasoning their Soy Curls product, it was way too strong and salty for me and for most people I am guessing. I would recommend halving the application rate of this stuff if you're not a huge fan of salt and, since it is of exceptionally fine-ground consistency you can easily add more of it according to your taste and it just melts right in. I have also used this to lightly season cooked kamut grain and again, a little goes a longer way than you might expect. As far as an "authentic" chicken taste, that's not really something I can comment on because I've not had chicken for over 35 years but it definitely does impart a hearty, unique and tasty flavor to lots of stuff and adds a pleasing golden-brown color to bland colored foods.

Adds a nice flavor to the soy curls. This jar will last me a long time. Good purchase.

Makes soy curls taste great! But, it's expensive, and I have trouble with the seasoning getting rock hard before it's used up. Also, very high in sodium.

I'm a new fan of the soy curls and this is great to use when I want some added flavoring that isn't spicy. Nice to have an all-in-one vs going through 3-4 spices in my cupboard.
