The holders always took up too much precious counter top space. The ones you mounted always looked cheap to me. This was a great alternative. However, I ordered the one that said it was matte/nickle. NOPE! Just a bright and chrome like as the silver one listed. So, be aware, but that's the only negative.

I'm impressed with this. I spent the time to install it well and I'm happy with the outcome. It got my paper towels up off the counter and now they're hanging under my kitchen cabinets. I think this product gave me the idea for how/where to mount it, actually. I live in an apartment and my kitchen is pretty low traffic so I'm very very pleased with this. The finish matches the other finishes in the kitchen. I hate when things are 6 different finishes. I'd buy again for sure. I don't intend to move any time soon, but if I can leave it for the next tenant -- I will (as long as I can reorder the product in the future again) because I feel like it's that nice -- they should be happy that I'm leaving it for them, but who knows. :)

Mounting this paper towel holder under a kitchen cabinet, freed up some counter space for us. We had to use shorter screws to prevent them from going through the cabinet. Somewhat lightweight in design, but it should do the job.
