been using these muzzles for aggresive dogs for years. if the muzzle fits right the dog can pant, eat, drink and even chew rawhide treats. they just cant open their mouths wide enough to bite. they do however slip off sometimes when the dog is lying down. i wish there was some kind of safety catch attachment we could use when necessary.

Does what I need it too. It would be perfect if there was some way to attach it too my dogs collar as she can get it off if she swipes at it enough.

The price is great! My puppy doesn't complain at all. She calms down when the soft muzzle is on and doesn't bite my 9 year old when she is playing with her. She's a pup so it is expected that she bites with her "sharp" teeth. I only put the muzzle on my puppy when my 9 year old plays with her. Any muzzle should only be used for a short period of time because dogs have to stick their tongue out of their mouth to SWEAT. Please be kind to your pet and only use the muzzle for short periods of time. Thank you Coastal Pet for your high quality, cheap price, soft mesh muzzle. I would recommend it to anyone.
