I love my Starbucks Verismo 580 Brewer, Starbucks is by far my favorite coffee shop but its to challenging making an extra 40 mile drive out of my way to get a coffee so stalking up on my favorite latte blends, blonde verandas, and plain house roasts makes my house feel like Starbucks every morning. I've even started bringing my Starbucks Verismo 580 Brewer with on long trips! ;)

This is a great Americano espresso brewer! Like the coffee pods too, but the Espresso is the best I've been able to get at home! Availability of pods locally at Starbucks, Staples, and Bed, Bath & Beyond, made this the one to go to for me... Brewer has worked well and is easy to live with. Good variety of pods easily available locally with the prospects for regular releases of new special coffees making it a pleasant indulgence for a coffee lover, like me. My favorite drink is an Americano and the crema on the top with three pulls on one pod makes this worth the investment. Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Espresso, is my favorite! Decaf Espresso will only give two pulls so will pass on it.

I love it and think I got this one for $100. Beware that the pods are VERY expensive, like $1/pod expensive. It gives you more coffee than a single Senseo pod, but still not a full cup. If they still sold the Senseo pods in stores, I would have stayed with that. I also find it kind of irritating that the machine is set so you have to shoot a small amount of hot water through it everytime you turn it on to "clean" the nozzle. You just push a button to do this, but I wonder how much bottled water I am using over time. I wish they made hot chocolate for this like they do with the Keurig. They don't as of yet.

The Verismo is one of the best all-around coffee machines for the price. With 19 bars of pressure it brews coffee shop quality esspresso shots, latte's, or regular brewed coffee by pressing a button, just like Starbucks. Just press one button and seconds later you have perfect esspresso. Press two buttons and you can make a chai tea latte or regular latte all in under a minute. Just made my favorite - Grande Americano. The Verismo.....Bellissimo!
