I purchased this pot in March of 2016! I have simply loved it. I hasitated on purchasing it after reading the reviews, but let me tell you I have had no problems. I have used any brand k cup that was on sale and with the handy loose coffee attachment which has a stainless steel net I have had no problem using regular ground coffee. Once I purchased coffee that was very fine and that did no work, but it didn't work in my regular cuisinart self grind pot either. Clean it out a tiny brush every now and than and you will enjoy this inexpensive coffee maker as I have.

My old Flex-Brew isn't made anymore, and I wanted something similar (it had its own problems as well). I miss being able to brew regular or strong, and this does not cut the K-cups easily (even top brands) so I have to carefully angle the cup into the pull-out part. Odd having to push the piece down every time, nothing on this is intuitive, and I have to wait too long before I can brew another cup. Kind of a drag.

Worked fine for about a month now it takes 2 cycles to pump water through. Took 30 minutes to make 2 cups of coffee. Nothing is plugged or stopped up, this unit just does not have the power to push the water through the K-CUPS. Thought this unit would make life easy but nothing beats an old fashioned coffee maker in the end. Not a supporter of the K-CUPS and this little piece of trash reinforced the idea.

UPDATE ------ So I attempted a return but Amazon return time has expired. I used the links through Amazon and they directed me to the Manufacturer for Warranty. I explained the same as above in my case. I received a reply within 8 hours. What bothers me is they say I am in my Limited Warranty period still and I must cut the cord send a pic and then call them to pay an additional $11.49 for shipping and wait 15 days for my replacement. Well I would say they are actually telling me to pay cost for the replacement and wait. Do companies think consumers are dumb. I paid $49 for the privilege of 1 months use and now I must cut the cord, pay "shipping" but I say cost of new replacement, and then wait 2 weeks to enjoy the same effect all over again. Garbage. Stay away.

Once we receive your payment and picture of the disabled unit, you should expect your new appliance to arrive within 15 business days. We also ask that you keep your current appliance until your new one arrives.

So convenient and makes quicker, safer, and hotter hot water for cup of tea made with tea bags than a microwave oven! Just fill your cup, pour the water in the back and close the machine. The hot water will fill the cup with tea bags. You can even uses two tea bags and pour the hot tea over ice in a taller glass to make the best iced tea around! Can also make hot water for hot chocolate of your own choosing if you don't want the additives in cocoa mix or KCups.

You won't need a tea kettle with this handy machine around and it makes a cup at a time, so there's no waste.

It is compact at about half the width of the popular and expensive machine and fits easily on the counter top.

I couldn't get tea strong enough by putting either loose tea or tea bags in the unit, but the solution was to put the bags in the cup and just pour water in the machine. It comes out hot enough to steep the tea in just a couple of minutes.

Bought another and gave it to a family member who also loves it and uses the KCup beverages in it which turn out delicious!

The only improvement that could be made is the adjustable cup shelf. If you don't get it hooked on just right, it will fall off with the cup. I leave mine on the lowest level, sitting on the countertop and it works fine with a mug on it at that level to catch the water or beverage without splatter.

I've been using my flex brew for a few weeks now and I LOVE it!! I love the regular or bold brew functions. It makes a great cup of ground coffee or using K-cups. I use the bold setting with my K-cups and get a strong cup of coffee. I had a Bella (that I returned) and the K-cups always seemed weak.
I've not had any issue with the system plugging or water not streaming. I always rinse the baskets and I open the top after each use.
I highly recommend this system!!
