Worked just fine. I used this on older, solid wood doors. I did a few and while it's beat up, it would do a few more.
I think it's great if you only need it a time or two. Not sure how long it would hold up under constant use.

Drill did not make it through one hole was not wide enough for my door although it said it was could not recommend this for anything other that a thin wood door like those found for a closet
