Because I have white sheers, I painted it gold, and it stands out great. It looks great from the road and I purchased the flameless LED candles and set one behind Mary and one behind Joseph for night time viewing. It gives it just the right amount of light and looks wonderful. I love putting Christ into Christmas!!
