These are JUNK. I used Duracell Brand batteries for both the tail light and head light. I tried 3 different sets and then even tried an off brand of batteries, all with the same result. Neither light would work. I then took small pieces of aluminum foil, wadded the piece up and put the foil between the positive side of the battery and battery compartment contact point. Doing this made both lights work. These are typical, cheaply manufactured product from China. I should know better by now. DO NOT BUY.

The lights seem OK. They were easy to install and do an adequate job. The price was right.
I like that the tail light has a couple flashing options- makes it more noticeable to approaching cars and saves on batteries.
As for the headlight I'm not impressed with the brightness considering it takes 4 batteries. Also, the beam pattern is too narrow. I wouldn't depend on it to light up a rough road in the dark. I have good street lighting in my subdivision so I just set it to strobe mode for maximum visibility to traffic.

Great lights, I did have an issue with the tail light, so I contacted Bikepark USA. They corrected my issue in the first response. I have this at 4 stars for now and I hope to adjust to 5 stars after I get a week of use under my belt. 9-25 I moved this to 5 stars, I had an issue with the tail light and I am honestly not sure if it was a product or operator error. Either way, I contacted BikeUSA and they replaced the tail light and it is working great now.
Lights are very bright.

Once I was able to get the sealed packaging apart the rest was easy. Takes 4 AAA batts for the black flashlight and 2 for the red tail light. tail light has 3 or 4 modes switched by small push button on the rear side. Both slide in and out of the holder attached to the bike. You can wear the red one on your pants too. The black one also has several modes. Very well made. Excellent brightness! Both of these lights can easily be taken off and used as personal protection light. A little tricky to get the headlight lens back on after battery install, but, I put it on a countertop to lineup the guides. That worked for me. Highly recommended.
