I absolutely love this product

I was skeptical with some of the reviews stating they were growing mold in the reservoir, however, I have not had that problem and it has been several weeks of usage. I do however, leave the lid open so the reservoir does dry out. I have a feeling these "mold people" are closing the lid with water residue in the reservoir, that along with not cleaning it by running a steam after usage would certainly cause mold growth! I feel as though, this is common sense. That being said, I absolutely love this product! I can do everything I need to my baby food and the look and color are fabulous. The blender was a bit louder than I had expected, I wouldn't run it while baby is asleep. But I can cook 7 meals in one steam cycle/blend. Super easy to use and clean!

I ordered the Beaba Steam Cooker to use for my elderly mother who needs her food pureed. I love the concept of being able to steam rather than microwave and then to blend with the same unit. My only issue with the Beaba is that the bowl cracks. I am on my THIRD bowl and only have had the unit for a few months. We use it 3 times a day so it does get a good workout.
I just ordered the Brezza with the glass bowl. I am hoping the Brezza is just as good at steaming and blending as the Beaba. I wish Beaba had the option of having a glass bowl rather than the plastic. (or what ever it is)
I will come back and let you all know how they compare.

NEVER BUY IT!!!!!

I bought the Beaba Babycook less than a month ago and started to use it three weeks ago as my baby turned 6 months. This morning while purreing some squash, the plastic round piece at the center of the blender's bladers simply melted down!!! I've been always very careful with the machine and never used the blender for longer than five seconds each time. Then this morning I heard a noise, stopped and looked at it to see that plastic melted in my baby food!! My baby could not eat, I could not go to work, it was a total disaster! I've read another review describing the same problem, so looks like this Beaba Babycook is really fragile and unsafe!!
I've been calling Beaba to complain and they are always closed during their (already quite retracted) business time! What a disappointment!

After few months it turned on a red light and it stopped to work. I tried to clean it following the instructions but nothing happened. It simply doesn't work.

Maybe we got a bad one, but it didn't cook the food clear through and it made chunky baby food. It just wasn't worth the trouble or the money. Amazon was great about taking it back and giving me a full refund. Amazon gets five stars, but the machine doesn't.
