This food mill is worth the money if you're doing small batches. If you're doing large batches of jams or canning tomatoes then it can become quite tiring after a short period of time. It works fantastic and is easy to clean and very sturdy my only complaint is the blades that capture the product to purée it and remove seeds could be a little larger. Like I said for small amounts it works great and you will definitely get your money's worth.

I grew up canning and much prefer the old fashioned food "processor" we had back then. This has 3 blades that are supposed to mash your food through the holes in the base and remove the seeds and/or peelings. The blades on mine were at least 3-5mm above the bottom so didn't really get it done well.
