Overall a nice product. The box was pretty beat up when delivered but everything was intact. The installation calls for 3 people in some areas and I can definitely see why, particularly with later steps of installing backboard/pole to the base pole so grab some help for sure. It's not a one day project and I don't think any would be. Plan on one day of digging hole and setting pole in concrete (don't skimp on the concrete, it calls for 490 something pounds and it will take every bit of that if you dig the hole to specs in instructions) 2nd day just to put pole and backboard/rim together. 3rd day putting all together (if you are like me and working 3-4 hrs a day on it).

The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there were a couple of pieces missing, minor washers , not a big deal. Furthermore the parts are not labeled nor are the packages they come in so you have to sort of sift through the parts . I found I was opening different bags of parts for totally different parts of the installation not related to each other .
The instructions are pretty clear and although a lot of steps they are quick and easy and you move through each one easily. The parts are also labeled at the top of each page that you will use in that particular sections.

The backboard seems sturdy for recreational play which is what we bought it for anyway but if you are looking for something to go crazy on , dunking and more competitive play, look elsewhere . The backboard is super sleek and seems fairly sturdy.

What I like most about the product is the super easy handle for making adjustments , literally takes no strength at all to adjust the height. Super nice if you have small children or older children who use different heights.

The backboard does have a bit of a "thud" noise and shakes when you shoot on it but any adjustable height backboard with this type of set up with extension arms will do the same . My neighbor has a different brand that does the same. To many moving parts so it is what it is.

Overall I would buy again, looks nice , perfect for families of different ages . Would get more help installing it next time .

My original experience was a little dicey, but the seller/amazon rectified the situation quickly. I have two of these units and my lone issue with this entire unit is that the Ten Foot mark is difficult to set; it took some minor alteration to fix the problem. Outside of this, the quality is fantastic for the price. The backboard size offers the feeling of a more expensive hoop and the arm set up makes it possible to offset it from the set post, allowing it to be placed off of the court of play.

I like the product however it is hard to assemble and the directions leave out some key points in assembly process, had to call in to get customer service assisstant which was surprisingly quick and efficient.

Carefully followed instructions, using the in-ground sleeve (making the overall install much easier), and it comes out to the exact height(s) as advertised. It is really quite easy to adjust the height, due to the spring loaded mechanism. Those springs were hard to get on, but if you use a large screwdriver and slide in place, it works fine. The only downside (minus 1 star) is that the parts needed for each step are mixed between the bags. Thankfully, the instructions are pretty clear as to which part is needed, but you have to hunt a bit. I put together myself, but I'm handy and have a garage full of tools and ways to hold the work-in-progress, so that the steps which said "requires 3 men", I did myself. Installing upright, though, took 3 people - so don't shortcut there!

Exactly what we were looking for. Easy to assemble, great value for the money, and easy to adjust to different heights.
