they were better than I thought they would!

These faded to gray within 6 months. Completely disappointed with the fade resistance. So I am off to go buy a better quality product (Dakine).

I bought these for my roof racks to slide my paddleboard on. These work exactly as needed - no shifting when sliding my board on and off the car, and they give the perfect amount of padding to protect my board. I leave them on all the time and they've held up very well in the rain and sun. Strongly recommend, especially compared to some of the overpriced items out there!

Great pads for the $$$ and fit my square Thule load bars great. They also are versatile enough to install on the front/back ends of my Thule roof basket so I don't even have to remove it to strap my surfboard down. It goes right on top of the basket.

The Rack Pads arrive in great time. I was very please with the quality and construction of the pads. They were very easy to install with the Velcro straps and doubly secure with the nylon ties cords at the ends. Initially looked and functioned great with my boards. My truck is parked in our garage with the rear facing the morning sunlight. Within the first 2 months (from May to July), I noticed that the rear pads have faded drastically from the original black to a greyish white color, while the front pads have not. It's too bad that a product that is meant to be exposed to a lot of outdoor use and sunlight was not treated with a more permanently colored dye process. My previous rack pads (from a different company) lasted about 12 years and remained black until the end - the black color outlasted the Velcro straps.
