Good Item I only use them to help keep the batteries organized in the drawer @ home -----not much of a Field Test.
Sturdy but requires patience to close the covers......

Pros: Sturdy enough plastic, OD color, opaque but you may still be able to see the batteries through the case, halves can be interconnected or used separately.
Cons: Covers are difficult to align correctly to engage the catch when closing them (it will take several tries). Fortunately, it's way easier to open the cases.
Somewhat pricey but serves its purpose, especially when transporting or storing loose batteries.

Got these for my husband for his bug out bags. He says they hold great and don't pop open, which another set he had did. They make it easier to store batteries in the house, also. No matter rolling batteries in the bottom of the drawer. I like how they keep the batteries dry, which living in a hurricane area is a must have.
Great way to carry a variety of spare batteries.

Mine came as pictured, bought a couple of these and also the Condor Tech Sheaths'. Carry one on my "tac vest" and one in the car console. The "split sliding" design works great. I carry AA, CR-123 and button cells for the laser in these. They're not waterproof but they do snap closed very tightly, using this with the Condor Tech Sheath just helps protect the batteries and make it easier to carry them. If you buy this then order the Tech Sheath too. Saw a couple of reviews that weren't really very good but the ones I got are pretty sturdy and if it was just a piece of "junk" it would have gotten pitched in the "sock drawer" instead of on my vest.

I love these cases! They're perfect for organizing loose batteries and fit AA, AAA, and C123s. The "split in half" feature is pretty cool, too. They can be a little pricey for just a batt case, but I say they're worth the extra cash. I'm one of those people who pack his gear very methodically and these cases leave no doubt as to where my spares are in my pack.
