It's really little, but a great device for a hobbyist. We don't use it often enough to attest to its durability really, but it seems well made and we have no complaints. Note: It will cut you if you don't practice proper safety practices--just because it's little doesn't mean it won't cause damage if you are careless.

Clever and cute little saw, quiet and effective with diamond blade, but requires cooling with water (squirt bottle) to avoid deterioration of blade; Some improvisation is needed to hold rocks in firm position. to allow multiple cuts for bigger rocks than maximum blade exposure. Like others, found wood blade (extremely coarse) ineffective because the motor is not powerful enough to avoid binding.

Good for small stock work ie.. models, doll houses, stop motion animation set peices. Grabbed it from the base when it was running and pushed my thumb into the blade. Didn't realize there is no guard underneath the table top, so Be careful! Motor is not strong enough to do too much damage tho.

Good product but limited uses for it. The motor is strong enough for most little projects. I did purchase a fine toothed blade for this one and swapped it out. This is a conversation piece in the garage for sure since it looks like a toy. It does do a great job for thin moldings and other small tasks.

The 4" mini saw met all my modeling needs. It is not the most powerful, however, it did perform as described and carried out my demands of it.
