I love this food scale!! It easily switches from oz to grams to lbs, and a few others as well. I especially like that I can zero it whenever I want to, so i can put a small plate on it then zero it and add the food I am weighing if I don't feel like subtracting the weight of the plate. It is so easy to keep clean since it is a glass top. The screen stays on long enough in my opinion. If you are trying to weigh things as you get them out of the fridge and cabinets, that will be too slow. If you have the item at hand, you can easily load it while the scale remains on. This thing has been so necessary in learning portion control. I could not be more pleased with it.
