It has a plastic smell when you get it out of the box but once you let it air it goes away.

Ok so it fits my bun rack perfectly. What I DON'T like is that only ONE of the zippers fully unzips. This is VERY inconvenient when trying to slide in wet cookies. It basically leaves the very top rack useless as you have to fold the flap over which pushes the top of the plastic DOWN and right into your freshly iced cookies. Will have to find a different one.

Cover works perfectly for proofing breads. I made 15 loaves of Stollen for Christmas and proofing the loaves on a speed rack with this cover saved time and space in my home kitchen.
