A Subtle Muzzle

Initially, I thought this leather dog strap muzzle would be too skimpy and lightweight for the heavy duty requirements of my dog. But I've been impressed... my dog adjusted to it quickly. I doubt any dog "loves" his or her muzzle... but it gave me a sense of security with my dog that she could still easily accept treats I gave her without being able to grab a live (bird, squirrel, etc.) or pick up something like garbage from the street. My dog rarely barks for no reason but this eliminates barking (at least fir my dog.) She can feel how relaxed I become when she's wearing it... so everybody is happier. Alas, I've had to order several as my wife seems to have lost at least two! (She swears she doesn't do this on purpose!! ) Let's be clear: it's a subtle thing that restrains her muzzle and jaw... basically a thin strap and not a full-on "Silence of the Lambs" Hannibal Lector scared mask.

I like the way it fits my dog. I have a decker terrier that is very hipper. I ordered this to teach him not to whine when riding in auto. He loves to ride but has a problem with the noise he makes when in an auto. He is still in training to wear the muzzele so we do not know the out come yet but so far so good.
