I CIRCLED IN YELLOW THE ISSUE PREVENTING A 5 STAR RATING FOR ME IT IS WORTH KNOWING.

(I WILL NOW GO INTO DISCUSSION ABOUT PAINT JOB ISSUES THAT MAY BOTHER SOME).

What can I say . LEGENDARY SURVIVAL ORANGE ZIPPO?!!?!? THIS is LITTERALY an unquestionably MANDATORY purchase. Now I jus need the yellow 1.

Buy the matte orange u won't be disappointed!!!

IT DOES SEEM AND APPEAR TO BE THE CASE.... and I'm not sure who is responsible but the hinge on this matte orange zippo has dabs of the ORANGE PAINT ON IT and it just looks off.

It looks low quality it looks and gives bad BAD paint job. And if ur that dude who takes every dollar u spend seriously u may be bothered by this.

And justifiably so.🤷"â'‚ï¸ . BUT IF u can look past it and accept it more than likely bein the case then the rest of it is a worthy LEGENDARY piece to overlook THAT ABSOLUTELY VERY ANNOYING JUST BAD QUALITY FLAW.

IT IS IN MY CONCLUSION TO GIVE this matte orange zippo 4 stars!!!!

I would have given it 5 stars. But as I said. And if u check my pics u will see the paint on the hinge. It just shouldn't be there. IT SHOULD EITHER BE FULLY PAINTED. OR SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROPERLY COVERED when painting the case.

If I wasn't obsessed with survival orange I'd be at 3 stars.

Bottom line conclusion it's still awsome if u can look past that 1 flaw.

I was throughly let down when this lighter didn't light upon arrival; nothing tells you it ships empty and need lighter fuel. A couple days lighter when my lighter fluid arrived, there is no paperwork on how to fill it. So I proceeded to figure it out and lost the flint. Moral of the story, you must familiarize yourself with this style lighter. Watch the video on manufacturers website on how to fill it. It's basic and easy if you're familiar. To fill, remove lighter from case, flip over, remove screw carefully (spring loaded) and roll over to drop flint out of screw hole, remove thick pad, pour Zippo lighter juice into cotton (not the screw hole), remove excess fuel by rolling over in a safe location, put thick pad back, drop flint into screw hole, replace spring screw, wipe down, put into outer case. THERE MAY BE RESIDUAL FUEL SO I DONT RECOMMEND BEING COOL AND LIGHTING IT RIGHT AWAY

Classic Zippo, appears to be authentic, made in USA Zippo. Functions just as it should, lighting easily every time and holding flame even in a fair wind. I put a gasket in mine. First time I ever used one of them. Seems to help as I can light over twenty times a day for over a week easily between fillings. Usual, to have to refill every 3 to 5 days.
