They're a little cheap compared to the ones that come with the kit, but I do like that price! Since I'm here, let me define cheap: the plastic is very malleable. You can bend the shaft with just a little bit of pressure. The needle cap is also quite strange, because it's a flat disc. It feels like it came out of a cheap mold. The needle, itself is also quite pliable. I've seen several of them bend on me at the tip. When I'm done, I just shove the needle into the plastic cap *anywhere* because the plastic is that soft. I mean, that makes it super easy, actually.

Now, none of what I typed above matters, because they work. I'm just setting your expectations, because I was surprised by the quality when I received them. I haven't had a single one fail to do the job. The bottom line is that I will buy them again.

I have ordered this product twice and plan to buy a third box with my next Amazon order (these are currently a Prime Add-On item). Without exception, every one of these lancets has fit into the AlphaTRAK lansing device without issue and worked perfectly with the device's lansing mechanism.

The current price for a box of 100 Abbott AlphaTRAK Lancets is $15.00. These lancets are functionally identical and the current price for a box of 100 is $3.69. Either save the $11.31 difference, or buy four boxes of this product and it will cost $14.76 (still less than one box of Abbott brand).

They work ok but due to the gage they are more like "harpoons" for testing on my cat's delicate ears. They do work with alphatrak 2 lancing device for pets. I just wanted something a little less traumatic for my Katie's ears. and found it with TruePlus 33 gauge lancets which also come in a variety of colors making it kind of fun for me (not so much for the cat, of course).

I use these to pop my pimples and do my own extractions. Perfect!!!

I ordered this 100 count package of True Plus 28 gauge lancets fit my easy care plunger. I gave 5 stars not because I "love" the lancets, but they work as I hoped, fit the plunger, and are not too expensive. So far, I have tested with these, and get a good 2.5mm to 3mm sample. The meter I use is supposed to work with a smaller sample, but I kept wasting strips because the sample at 30g was too small to be absorbed. I think I'll save money on strips by getting a good sample the first try with these lancets.

I needed a thicker gauge because the 30 gauge doesn't seem to penetrate my skin. These 28gauge do. I noticed in some reviews of lancets a complaint that the little caps were difficult to put back after using the lancet. They are not meant to be re-fitted in the same hole. I turn them flat and insert the used point into the flat side. That way, you can tell if it was used at a glance.
