High quality glass with a great design. Perfect size to be used as drinking glasses. These are larger than the ones you find at Walmart and hold more liquid so you don't have to refill as often.

These were very well packaged when I received them and thankfully, none of my jars were broken or damaged in any way. The best quality of these jars is their size. When I placed my order I initially feared they would be too big to drink out of. However, these are a perfect size to use as a drinking glass (I have average sized hands if that helps). They hold enough liquid, even if you add plenty of ice, to get you through dinner. My friends love drinking out of these when they come over too. The jars have the Ball logo on one side and ornamental fruit on the other. These jars will look great sitting on your coffee table.

I Purchased the Ball Wide Mouth Quart Jars for my Sister who is into Canning, She grows a lot of Fruits and Vegetables that she uses in the Jars and does a Great Job. The Quart Jars are a good Size and they seemed to be very Strong, it has Measurements on the side of the Glass, I like that. The Box with the set of twelve Jars arrived without any Problems, not a single broken Jar and to tell you the truth I was very concerned.
All those Jars were nicely Packed, they come in Thick Cardboard Trays wrapped in Plastic and well Protected, I Like them a lot and I might get some for myself and use them with the Plastic Storage Caps instead of the two-part metal lids. My Sister really likes them, I also got the half gallon six Pack for her, those are really Big and I Paid a lot more for both sets of Jars, however, I Love the Fact that Ball Mason Jars are Made In the USA! ...Thank You D.D.

Great jars! Easy to clean (I wash the jar in the dishwasher and the lids by hand since I'm afraid of rust). They are definitely a good size - I bought the 32oz and use them for "salad in a jar". For anyone for doesn't know what that is, I layer all my salad ingredients in a jar where it keeps very, VERY well - I had salad in here for over a week and it's still perfectly without any wilting! These hold plenty and when I ready to eat lunch, I put my dressing in, shake, and it's ready to go! I don't stuff my jar totally full but they are still very well packed - I want the jar to do the work which is why I prefer to shake it to get the dressing distributed. The wide mouth is great for salads. It is a little too deep to get to the very bottom with a fork but I'm not too upset about that considering everything else. I haven't tried them in the freezer, but they are definitely refrigerator safe.
