It broke the first time we tried to hook a mooring booey from our sailboat, by the time we got back from vacation we were unable to return.

Easy to use and very sturdy. Well built and perfect to reach out and loop through an eyelet.

Bought this for use while we are doing the Great Loop. Great concept but a piece of junk and ZERO support from the manufacturer. With the first use on a mooring ball in St. Augustine Florida the rotating hook jammed in the closed/extended position. Numerous tries over the next month and we could not get it to retract. Reached out to Hook & Moor via the contact info on their website for guidance. We received no replies.
As other reviews have noted their quality is sub par. At least they were able to get their hook back to a working condition.

This is a great product. Only had one issue when first trying it. The screws that hold the inner wheel in place backed out of the inset nuts. We lost a screw but were able to replace it. We put lock tite on them and it is fine.

The mooring hook performed as advertised, but the screws were loose and fell out. Luckily I found the screws on the deck of the boat and was able to repair it.
