I was under the impression, based on the graphic I saw, that this was a 1/48 scale kit. Silly me. Even though it said 1/48 scale, it turns out that the company thinks it was advertised as a 1/144 scale kit. Next time I looked at the graphic, there was no mention of the scale, and the photo was too small to see a scale on the box. I e-mailed the company, and they said the ad specifically stated that it was 1:144 scale.

Partly my fault. Assumed 1:48. Actual 1:144.

Pros: Package contents well protected.
Instructions fairly easy to follow.

Cons: 1. Scale 1:144 unsatisfactory for this model, or any other aircraft model. Recommend not using this scale for anything, period!. Please
Consider 1:48.(optimal) 1:35 (if you must).
2, Part numbers on the gray srue were difficult to make out.
3. Some parts were very tiny, and very difficult to apply to the model.
4. Some parts did not fit together, leaving gaps that required using putty to correct.
5. Definitely unsuitable for beginners, or children 14 and younger.

Personally, I would not recommend purchasing this model, or any aircraft from this manufacturer using the 1:144 scale.

Revell of Germany - Recommend change model kits production to either a 1:35 scale, or better yet, 1:48 scale.

I was most disappointed in this Revell kit. The kit has all the detail and accuracy of fit you expect in a Revell product. However, in this kit the model is so small most of Revell's ability to provide detail is lost. I depend on Revell to provide consistency in its product scaling so comparisons with other model aircraft, its own models and others, can be made. A scale of 1:144? Really? Its far too small.

Great model but didn't realize it was a very small scale.
