Beautiful Bed skirt
brenda c parsons✓ Verified PurchaseApril 13, 2017
The material was beautiful. Unfortunately I did notice the drop was only 15" and I need 18". I had to return it and cried all the way to UPS. Would have been so happy if it came in 18".
Elegant and Classy

I have been looking for a beautiful bed skirt for years. One like this one that is decorative, fits over the box springs, and isn't snow white. I gave up when the only ones I could find were cheap and plain, had to be pinned, or cost hundreds of dollars. I was so pleased to stumble onto this "dust ruffle" that is beautiful yet inexpensive.

It arrived in perfect shape and as another reviewer said, "it fits the corners". Most of the other bed skirts I have had ride-up at the corners and just don't fit right.

No, it isn't easy to put on or take off for washing which is one of the drawbacks of an under the mattress bed skirt. One person can put it on, but you need at least two people (depending on bed size) to put the mattress over it without sliding the mattress. However, it looks better than all the other types of bed skirts and it stays where you put it unless you have a "Slip 'n Slide" for a mattress.

The bad news is that I now want a more expensive coverlet to equal the beauty of this bed skirt!
Great purchase

Love it. Really debated before I bought it but I wanted something with detail and I didn't want it to look cheap. Also I had gotten a white comforter and I liked that this is an off white, not pure white so it actually looked good with my comforter. I would definitely say this is delicate. I would be very careful washing and maybe not putting it in the dryer because it has a lot of detail at the bottom that could potentially unravel if not taken care of well. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase it was worth the money. I probably could have ironed it before putting it on, or steamed it a little but I think over time it will flatten itself out. I have a king size bed and it for great, I wouldn't really think it would fit good on a Queen. It would be very long and I don't think it would look right. Perfect for my king size bed though. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to add a little delicate detail to their bedding.
A Little Touch of Romance

Exactly what I was looking for. This beautifully sewn bed skirt fits the way a bed skirt should fit - hangs the right length and fits over the bed corners. I had previously bought other skirts which looked ill fitting and didnt drape right, or needed to be tucked. I just updated my master bedroom with high end linens and this skirt softens the all white. Worth the expense. Carefully packaged so it was not horribly wrinkled and could have been put on the bed straight from the package, but I lightly ironed out the few wrinkles in a few minutes. Definitely worth the price and would order for every bed.
Not the best quality, yet still a pretty addition.

I'm sure I have a warped sense of value (considering unfair sweatshop labor delivers unjustly priced goods). While this bedskirt is lovely, its overall execution is disappointing. I noticed quite a few unravelling threads (see third picture) and there is no way to secure it to the bottom mattress-- unlike a fitted sheet. I think the pleat in the middle looks a bit odd. I'll need to figure out a way to secure the ribbon threaded through the bottom part before washing it. And as a final heads-up: it took me a long while to iron out the wrinkles. Overall, I'm glad I have it, but I can't seem to shake the nagging thought that it wasn't really worth the price.
