I only gave this four stars 'cause I've only tested it in a parking lot with another Jeeper that was only around 50' away. I'll have to re-evaluate it when we do trail running and there's more distance between radios.

Purchase this Mic after hearing from. Couple of friends that. It was a good one... Well I can't tell because the one I got doesn't work !!! Plug the Mic in and nothing.... shows I'm transmitting and I haven't even touched the switch.... Gonna return and try one more time... Also says it was prime item ...but took 5 days to arrive not very happy at the moment...

I didn't like the looks of this mic, truth be had it ugly. I got in the mail it's still not pretty but it's the perfect fit in ones hand I love the feel of this mic, it has a good weight to it. Audio on it comes in clear I've used it on a galaxy, Stryker, and connex and it's always got good feed back on it. The only reason I'm going to replace it is I want the Stars and Stripes mic. Would not fear to recommend it to anyone
