Sooooo glad I got this one!

I had a TENS over a decade ago, and saw the price of this and grabbed it. The menu is very confusing at first -- or rather, how the button at the bottom navigates the menu is confusing. You press the top of the button to go down the menu and vice versa! Go figure! Once I got that down pat, and how to set the various settings, everything was great, but I almost sent it back the first day before I figured that out.
As with all TENS units, you have to be VERY careful as you turn up the power. You can easily overdo.
I charged it quite a while before I used the device -- having a USB charger instead of using a 9-V battery is SUCH a luxury! We were always buying batteries for the old one -- it finally just got too expensive to use. This one -- no such problem!
I was also worried how long a charge would last. I found out really fast -- it lasted all day at the intensity I set it at! It was going as strongly when I took it off for bed as when I put it on! I was saying I might need to get a second to take with me on all-day excursions if the battery didn't hold up all day -- but I can stay with just this one, now! Especially since I've found the USB power adaptor plug in the car we just got. The TENS can be used while it charges.
The other thing I like better about this one -- the older one was much heavier and thicker. This one is so streamlined, it's like not having it there at all.

3 Month review.
I have been using daily for a leg injury and have zero complaints.
Works great.
Attach electrodes to body and turn on.
It defaults to #1, normal Tens for injury.
It defaults to 20 minutes. Each click of the 'T' adds 10 minutes up to 1 hours, then starts over at 10 minutes.
For power adjustment,, right click the dial. It defaults to 1 dot. I set it at 3. Do not use settings level where it gives any pain - not good!
When finished, it turns off automatically.
If you want to end session earlier, first slide to power switch off (display goes off).
Then take off electrodes/ pads.
Easy as pie.
Highly recommend.

Quite a neat little TENS machine!
When shopping for a TENS machine, I need it to be rechargeable via USB, more than 2 leads, and cost under $40. This unit was perfect!
It is the size of an old ipod Nano (and is even packaged like one), the charge lasts for hours even on the highest setting, and the modes are fairly intuitive. Navigation with the dial pad is a bit clunky, but once you figure how the unit behaves, it really becomes an after thought.
There are better products on the market and this unit does not compare to the machine at my chiropractor's office, but the price point makes this unit one of the best deals.

Compact and does the job but kick not as powerful as YK15AB unit

I like this unit because it is compact. The modes seem to be the right amount and I like the snap-on pads vs the pads with pins. I wish the unit had a belt clip or some kind of carrying case. This unit doesn't have much kick until you really turn up the levels higher - the YK15AB has much better kick for the same price but is MUCH bigger and not as sleek looking. I bought this one as a more portable option to the YK15AB (which I would probably recommend over this one).

Probably the most powerful portable TENS unit available. The strength is almost as strong as the professional unit at the Dr's office. The multiple programs enable you to easily find a pattern that works well for the purpose you need. The enclosed placement chart was a nice touch. This is a very light and small unit - think small MP3 player and you'll visualize the size. We've had great success, but have been told don't drop the unit onto hard surfaces as they will probably not survive the fall. We carry ours in old eyeglass cases and that works very well. Can't beat the performance for the price.
