Attractive solution for my open bulb swag lamp. Enough light penetrates the "frosting" to be make this bulb reasonably practical.

These lights work great in my dining room vintage, ceiling light. The light has (5) bulbs and it generates enough light to enjoy a nice meal or play board games at the table. Although, the lights are not extremely bright and more on the yellow spectrum so this would not be great kitchen/workshop lamps.

These are okay. They look better than a plain bulb, but they are pretty delicate. I ordered six and one of them didn't work, probably because it gotten shaken around during shipping, which easily broke the filament. They're a bit fragile that way.
