Works well. Could be a tad longer, but other than that I've no complaints.
COLOR! We have color!

My Wii was only showing on my newer tv in black and white. This cable makes the screen display perfectly. Installation was easy, as the colors matched the back of my tv 1:1. Very pleased with this purchase.
Only cable that worked for me

I ordered two other replacement cables and this is the only one that has worked. No issues so far
Saved my Wii from extinction

I hadn't used the family Wii in years but decided to get it back in use. I quickly discovered by newer TV didn't have the inputs. This cable worked perfectly
It works, and works well!

Okay, I thought my 7 year-old Wii had bit the dust when it's display started dropping the red component and rendering the screen in shades of green and yellow. Turns out it was just a cable which had gone belly up. I had the Wii connected to my 48 inch Vizio LED screen and my Yamaha RX 475 receiver with another Wii component cable and a component cable extension. I figured out that the cables were the problem by connecting another Wii which showed the same symptoms. Not willing to expend the extra time to narrow the problem down, I purchased this new Wii component cable and used another brand new component extension cable that I already had. Problem solved. Now within the next few days I will be replacing the Wii with a Wii U that my wife and I got for each other for Christmas. According to all that I have read, this cable set-up will give us 1080p from the Wii U with no problems. So we're looking forward to another 7 years of Mario Kart bliss... Mario Kart 8 this time!
Edit as of April 26, 2015:
I did connect the new Wii U with this cable and it functions perfectly in all its 1080p glory! Ps. the reason I'm using the component cable instead of HDMI is that I just don't have enough HDMI inputs available on my Yamaha receiver - and this works well enough that I don't feel I'm missing out on anything.
