Incredibly well-made futon. Very sturdy and durable. I have borderline abused this thing since I bought it about a year ago. It is rather easy to assemble and fold on a regular basis. The wood is kind of bland (color is generic and the finish is unpolished), so, if style is important, you might want to look at other options or take the time to paint and/or polish the frame. It is very functional though. I highly recommend this one.

We're a solid 2 months in and my daughter, a full figured lass, is still in love with this frame. Solidly made. Assembly is a two person job, but relatively easy.

It is easier to move it down into bed position than to get it back up, if you don't have room to get in back of it.

What a disappointment! I scoured Amazon looking for a queen-sized futon that would be of high enough quality to warrant the price, and found that this one in particular had decent reviews. The product description emphasizes that this product is solid wood, and while that may be the case, the hardware used in the construction of the futon is cheap and flimsy. Many of the critical joints in this futon are made of those little dowel-and-socket joints, and this looks to be where the failures happened. Screws tore from wood, dowels fell out, and when I attempted to put the futon back together to make it more stable, it literally fell to pieces in my living room. With how long it took to assemble, I am extremely unexcited to take this chintzy thing back apart and pack it back into boxes for a refund. If you're considering this futon, reconsider. You'll be disappointed.

This is a good futon frame, but workmanship could be improved. Several spots where the finish is rough, not smooth. Installation instructions were above average--things could be explained a little more clearly. Packaging was excellent--there was no damage or scratches from shipping.

Solid beautiful and easy to assemble. Very pleased with this futon frame.
