While it is a good product, the issue is it can be taken off with some serious prying with a butter knife. I give it a 3 because this is a good product that doesn't require drilling but I wish could stand up better. I did order another one because I couldn't find a better one that didn't require drilling.

I was a bit skeptical that "tape" could hold up to the potential abuse that this lock kit might have to endure. I've been using it since August with no problems. The adhesive is still holding tight. A word of advice. Place the lock pads where you want them and trace a line around them with a sharpie. DO NOT GO OUTSIDE THE LINES WHEN ROUGHING UP THE SURFACE WITH THE SCRATCH PAD. After you rough up the surface wipe it thoroughly with the cleaning pad. when you peel and stick the actual lock pad, make sure it's exactly where you want it. Once stuck you aren't going to move it.

The product works extremely well and definitely sticks to the refrigerator well. They are about as unobtrusive as an item like this can be. I knocked off one star simply because of the price. To secure a household of refrigerators and freezers may run you over $100, especially by the time you buy locks.
