The price of the 5 lb bag was $7 less than Chewys! The larger sizes are much more expensive than Chewys thouh. This is kind of strange. Our 1 1/2 year old Doxie has been on it since she has been weened and likes it very much. My advice to anybody is buy a good brand of food and if your dog likes it stick with it forever! We mix in some meat for her at dinner time too. Obviously if your dog has some problems like diarrhea or very soft stools you might have to try another brand but you can buy this with confidence that this is a good product.

I have an 8 year old black lab. He has been eating a brand recommend by his vet all his life. My masseuse recommended I try this food for him. When I opened the bag it has a wonderful aroma, I thought about trying some...his former food smell like grain, straw sort f smell. The thing I noticed right away were his stools. They were no longer hard, dried up and hard to pass,this food made them look healthier and easier for him to pass. He just gobbles up this food.

My German Shepherd loves this food!, I bought this as a recommendation from my breeder, who raises them for police departments, and very loving families. She (Inga) love's the taste and ,I Love the solid waste cleanups, never runny feces! (Sorry had to go there :) ) I feed her 2 times a day, and it satisfying enough that she doesn't always finish it all. She is healthy, loving pup! I have met several GSD owners that live by this food! Now if Amazon prime can only keep it in stock! I love the well packaged 40lb bag being delivered right to my door! Poor mail lady,it is lil heavy for her to carry to door step! My plans are to get Inga training (and donate services )for helping the local police departments to find missing persons! That's the least I can do to give back to my community as a free gratitude to all they do for us. GOD Bless our great police officers!
