My favorite hot sauce delivered to my door instead of going without as it's not in my local supermarket. The best with anything you like with hot sauce. This is not a straight hot blast but complex and nuanced. Yum!!

I discovered this hot sauce in Ireland of all places, and it still is the best. A recent trip to New Orleans reminded me of what I had been missing. I can't find it in Ohio so I ordered it off Amazon. It arrived quickly and well packaged. Crystal hot sauce is savory yet not salty, flavor packed but not too hot. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy Tabasco on certain things and I like various local hot sauces as well. Nevertheless, after tasting Crystal again, I won't bother with Franks or Texas Petes ever again. Both are so blah and overrated. Go ahead and go large, you won't regret it 'cause you'll find yourself putting it on just about everything. If you happen to run a restaurant, order a case of the small bottles to pleasantly surprise your customers. Expect repeat business.

Most hot sauces in the store are full of ingredients like sugar, garlic powder and xantham gum. (Sugar is the #2 ingredient in Sriracha!) Here's the complete ingredient list for Crystal Hot Sauce: Cayenne Peppers, Vinegar, Salt. That gives Crystal a much brighter, cleaner, tangier flavor that goes with anything. It's similar in style to Tabasco but so, SO much better.
