I started drinking beet juice a couple of months ago to combat high blood pressure.I never ate too many beets in my life, and everyone online was complaining about the earthy taste. I dismissed the reports thinking I've never had a problem getting not-so-great-tasting food/drink down. I was so wrong.... I ordered a pound of generic beet powder from a health store. The cost was much lower than the ones sold on Amazon, and reviews indicated that it was pretty effective.... I made a mistake. I had a hard time getting it down. The earthy taste was intense, and the bag it came in kept it clumpy and a general pain to use. I took to Amazon.

The Pure Synergy beet powder just flat out tastes better. I'm not sure what they do differently, but the earthy taste is reduced and seems a bit sweeter than the 1st powder I purchased. Clumping was also non existant.

I did deduct one star for the jar... Beet powder is sticky, which causes the threads of the cap to get stuck or not screw on right. I found myself having to clean the outside rim with a warm washcloth after every few uses in order to keep the lid closed tightly. I hope this changes because I do plan on re-ordering.

I'll be re-ordering, despite the higher cost than the first brand I bought. Worth it.

The company says that this beet juice powder is deliciously sweet and it is. I think I could eat it straight from the jar. I tried ordering less expensive beet juice powder (the Pure Synergy is a bit pricey) and that beet juice powder had a distinct rooty after-taste. The Pure Synergy tastes much better. As other reviewers have noted, it does tend to pick up water rather quickly. I suspect this is a good thing- they must have dried it really well. But if you leave a spoonful out in the air, it will start looking wet. That said, with the two desiccant packs that came in the bottle and shaking it a little each time I opened it, the beet juice powder stayed powdery in the bottle down to the last few tablespoons. It took me about a month to use up the bottle.

I'm on my second bottle of beet juice concentrate. I bought it because supposedly beet juice helps support vascular elasticity - so far, so good I'm still alive. I've also found beet juice is not as God-awful as the first few times I drank it. Still not good by any means, I wouldn't buy into those people who say they enjoy it. The product also mixes well. My only complaint is that the stuff is VERY sensitive to moisture. There are two desiccant packs in the jar that make getting a spoonful of powder out difficult to say the least. But even with those, my current jar is starting to get a little lumpy so I'm afraid to take the desiccant out.

Love this product. However, I went to use some today and found that somehow moisture must have gotten in the container because all the powder is clumped together and rock hard. Bought this in February and haven't used much of it yet. I don't understand how or why this happened considering that it was being stored in a dry place with the lid completely on. I'm very upset as I wanted to use this powder for juicing and this stuff is expensive!!

I purchased the Pure Synergy Organics Beet Juice Powder because I keep hearing about the health benefits of drinking beet juice and wanted to try it. I was a little worried about the taste but I found that I really enjoy the flavor. especially when its ice cold. I was also worried about any reactions I might have to it. I had none whatsoever. I can't say whether I experienced any real boost in energy but, assuming the benefits are real and I enjoy the flavor I am ordering more. One note, the powder is packed with a couple of desiccants to keep the moisture out. Leave these in the powder! Otherwise the powder will harden and become unusable.
