Too many small and lightweight pieces makes it from the start, difficult to assemble, and to keep it all together. I got it for my 4 year old son. I know it is intended for 6+ kids, but even for me it was not easy to use without struggling a little with the moving parts. Didn't like it very much. And neither did my son, since it is now stored in a box and has not been missed much recently.
Fun For Kids, But It Aint LEGO

My son likes it fine, but all of the K'NEX toys are a little rickety. The cars make the track move all over the place and the little components come apart. If you are used to LEGOs, this will be frustrating for you. But...if your kid likes Mario this is what you get.

Absolutely the WORST! Parts bags made no sense, instructions were ABSOLUTELY useless, and to end it after an hour and a half of time putting it together or barely works. This was a useless XMAS gift and our 6 year old was disappointed. Should have paid close attention to the other negative reviews. Stay far away from this. I like to think of myself as a bit of a master lego builder and this was more complex then that!
