I was shocked to discover what this food really smells like after getting it last night from Amazon. I normally buy it from Walmart, and it always has a very sharp, acrid smell, which I thought was normal, because every bag smells like that. And at every stage through your dog, including the extra flatulence!😠I was shocked when I open the bag from Amazon, it just smells fresh and normal. Walmart stock must be very, very old, better price here as well. This is the only food I found on the market that doesn't have peas in it. Peas and other legumes (garbanzo beans/chickpeas) destroy your dogs heart. Please look into it, the FDA published a paper on it over three years ago, the dog food makers don't seem to know or care. I urge you to look into this! Especially if your dog has been diagnosed with a heart murmur, and is on vetmedin. If I know this, I feel the vets should all know this, but then they're making almost $100 a bottle on vetmedin..
