Don't buy this from Amazon. Spent almost an hour assembling it because Amazon sent me a wreck of a box filled with the vacuum's scuffed parts in it. It looked like a 4 year-old taped up pieces of a box. Amazon still had no problem sending it. Still trying to use the vacuum. All the parts are there.

From what I can tell. The vacuum has poor workmanship. As other reviewers of the non-commercial version of this vacuum wrote, the plastic makes it light but also it is:

CONS

1. Challenging to return the cord (last two loops don't fit entirety).
2. Tough to close the bag enclosure (takes multiple attempts).
3. Not the right size for its Y bags to fit in it (you lose 1/4 of the bags capacity).
4. Loud in a high-pitched, whining way.

To be somewhat fair, the best parts of the vacuum are its:

PROS

1. Weight (relatively light to move around and take up stairs).
2. Handle (good design choice to make it much easier to lug around).
3. Power (pretty strong 12 amps not listed above in the specs).
4. Cord (three prong, heavy gauge wire).
5. Manual height settings (to choose the right vacuum height for the job).
6. Bag and sensor (sometimes you just want to have a vacuum with a bag that is easier to clean and has an indicator when it is full)

We have a small mom and pop cleaning business and have been using Hoover vacs for a bunch of years, this model worked very well for us, just ordered two more, however one thing I don't care for is you can't wrap up the cord on the machine but I can work around that and have, another thing I didn't like is the easy bag release, I got rid of that, no headlight but I don't clean in the dark anyway! We have had these about a year use them every day two and three jobs a day never had a problem with them. I can't give them five stars because you can't wrap up the cord but they have great suction and pick up all kinds of stuff i guess you could say they really suck!! ha ha ha ha
