Costco wanted $4500 to put gutter guards on my house...are you kidding??? I found these read the reviews...ordered 510 feet. I had them all installed in 2 days. They look great...easy to install.....and work perfect. If I were to open a gutter guard business...I would order these...put them on and charge $4000. You could make a killing. They are also very easy to install. I bent the back flap down and pushed them up underneath my shingles then screwed on the front edge. PERFECT. Also...they come with the screws. Last note....these are super easy to cut for corners. Had our first rain last night with these on...Flawless. I am very happy.

These are great! It took some time to install by myself on a ladder, but I put them up at the end of summer, and now it's December and the gutters have been flowing great ever since. Seemed like I was cleaning them once or twice a month before installing these covers. I have a huge pin oak that constantly clogged up my gutters with debris. I had to have some foundation work done, and this may have been the source of all the trouble. Looks like I won't have to worry about that anymore. One problem I had with these covers though--during a downpour, I found that the runoff down a roof valley into an inside corner of the gutter would just bounce off the cover and pour over the edge. To solve this problem, I bought a few wire mesh type covers, and used those for the inside corners while using the flexxpoint covers everywhere else. Seems to have solved that problem by letting more water in where needed while still keeping the leaves, twigs, and acorns out.

I've installed them on 50' of 5" gutter in heavy wooded location. I've also installed about 20' of the foam style on another run. The difference is the foam has no splash like the metal. Though the metal splash is minor it's enough to wet the decking if you do not have good flashing or waterproofing. The foam however may need cleaning after about 3-5 years but is easy to remove and reinstall.

Pros:

Not easily seen from the ground so if you paint your gutters you won't have to paint these either
Works satisfactory with heavy down pours
Shouldn't have to remove or clean unless working on gutter/facia
Aluminum with stainless screws should out last you
Cons
Flimsy material and shipped in single box. My orders came slightly damaged requiring me to deal with the bend on every piece.
Slight Splash back depending on how far your gutters are from roof edge. Cold cause deck or facia rot on some houses.
Minimal purchases are way too large. Minimal 6" is 100'.

Best possible system you can put on your gutters, especially for the price. Our yard is covered with massive Red Oak trees so keeping the gutters cleaned out before was a full time job. I've had these on for about 2 years and the only thing that builds up on top of them are the catkins from the oaks. Still much easier to blow those off once a year than pull my ladder out and dig through mounds of leaves 3 or 4 times a year. I've install these on my grandmother's house and my wife's grandmother's house. I really like the ease of installation. They are also quite rigid. An added benefit is that because they screw in to the front lip and the back of the gutter wall, they add overall strength to the gutter system. You can't go wrong with these.

I spent quite a bit of time researching and determined that this was a very good deal if it was truly of the quality that it appeared. I finally ordered it. The order came in 4 or 5 days. I found them to be very easy to install, they snapped right in with no difficulty. Also, I found the screws that came with the order worked just fine. (I have read reviews indicating that you would need to get some screws because those that came with the covers were not any good).

The next day we had a good hard steady rain which lasted all day. I went out and inspected very thoroughly and they were working just fine.

January 28, 2016 It has now been a few months since I installed these gutter guards. Since my initial review, this product has been through the remainder of the fall numerous rain storms and this years "storm of the century". They have proven to be a superb product by demonstrating the ability to easily handle severe rain downfall and leaves are easily blown away. I was concerned with leaves and debris getting caught in the gutters due to the fact that this building is located very close to a heavily wooded area. My concerns were unfounded.

I strongly recommend this product. .
I am a bit suspect that some leaves may get caught on top of the gutter cover due to the lip on the front of the gutter. If this is true, I think it will only be a significant issue during a 2 week period in the fall when the leaves are falling. I live in a highly wooded area.

In short, I think these covers are going to work just great.
