It was heavier than expected, but that's the trade off for a sturdy ladder. Easily gets me on the roof when extended and inside the house for light bulb changes in the V configuration. I haven't hurt myself with it yet, but my wife got a head bonk when the two of of first tried to fully extend it. Might be better if the design had stops on it to prevent sliding legs completely out of the ladder. Well known brand. A bit of flexing when fully extended.
