Handy Little Doggie Gazebo, but Expect Some Difficulty if Assembling it Alone
TexasG✓ Verified Purchase•July 23, 2017
I bought this cute little gazebo so my dogs could go out on the upstairs deck whenever they want, since they get bored waiting for me to walk them. I wanted it for the covered top (birds of prey in my area will eat small dogs) and the slant on the top (lots of snow here in winter). This is not a heavy duty gazebo, but for my dogs I don't need one.
It took me probably 30 minutes to assemble, assembling it alone. (I am a petite, 57 yr old female with little physical strength). No tools are required, but there are a few parts that are difficult to do by yourself, so if you can arrange for a friend to help you, it will be a lot easier, and you won't be tempted to say any bad words.
The panels are very easy to put together, with a plastic connector for each end.
The roof supports are where assembling this gets pretty wily. You have to hold them together as you place them into the round connector (and while you are holding the round connector in one hand) and hook the other end into the small hole in the plastic connector that hooks the top of each panel to the next one, I did this exactly as the instructions said to do it, and they kept falling out. With a second person helping, this part wouldn't be too difficult. I have included a photo of the round connector so you can see it. On the roof supports, be sure you aren't trying to put them in the post holes. They go in the smaller hole in the connectors.
Then you put the cover on, screwing down a round plastic top over it in the center (the whole thing in medium size including the cover is 5' tall, so at least I could reach it). Then there are elastic ball and elastic connectors. Its a plastic ball thing an inch or so in diameter, with a loop of very strong elastic cord attached that you slip through both grommets at eight intervals around the cover and around the posts, then hook the elastic loop over the round ball. I really struggled with some of these, not having much physical strength. I didn't think I was going to get the one on the last gate post to latch and I was eyeing my canister of zip ties just in case. With much effort, it did finally go on. Whew!! I deducted one star for the difficulty of these elastic bands and the roof support arms.
All in all, its a good little gazebo and I think it will work for what I bought it for when I get the doggie door installed in my sliding glass door (that I also bought here on Amazon) so my two bossy chihuahuas can go outside onto the deck whenever they want during my work day.

Good product but- pity about the crappy plastic spoke hub which broke and the too small recommended shade panels

We WERE very happy with these Gazebo kennels and we run a rescue shelter for dogs. We have 3 medium kennels and one large . The issue is with the LARGE kennel. The plastic HUB which holds the spokes in place which in turn supports to roof cover SPLIT IN HALF. Therefore there is no roof = no shade= no use to us !. I got the complete run-a-round from the seller . which pretty much told us "Tough" you've had it for 6 months we can't help. Heads up! We don't want a replacement kennel but if the hub that holds the spokes is PLASTIC and splits then we have just thrown $300 in the trash all because of a faulty $5 piece of crap plastic ? Has anyone contacted the manufacturer instead of teh seller ? I can't get to the manufacturer
Fast Shipping, Fantastic Product... Five Stars!

Received the Pet Gazebo (medium size) yesterday in the mail, and it has to be one of the best purchases I've made. Not to mention, it shipped within just 2 days! (I don't have the Prime shipping, either). It has easy set-up instructions and assembles within 20-30 minutes. I put together the gazebo by myself with ease! Highly recommend this product to anyone who is considering purchasing. I spent hours researching for a durable, outdoor kennel that was safe, comfortable, and gave me the peace of mind that my lab mix will be secure in the kennel. The Advantek Pet Gazebo is by far the best kennel I've bought, and so happy I chose this kennel over the others I was considering. However, if you want to have it be even MORE stable and secure, you will need to buy the ground stakes separately.
There is a 5 year warranty on all the steel and nylon parts, which consists of the panels, arms and connectors. All of the other parts have a 1 year warranty. Overall, I am VERY happy with this product, and I might purchase another one here in the near future to connect to my current gazebo.

Great for chickens

I was able to put this together being 34 weeks pregnant. I only needed help with the canopy because I was a tad too short and have spine problems where I cannot look up. We use this as a chicken run for our 5 hens and it's perfect for it. It provides predator protection as well as weather protection.
Great product!

We show dogs and are frequently in one place for three days up to a week. This gazebo is fantastic for our three Australian Shepherds. We bought two so they would have plenty of room. Actually there is enough room in just one for them to be comfortable but if we are somewhere longer we put both of them up. The con is that it takes about 20 minutes to put them up and take them down. It is easy to do just takes awhile. The pros are that once they are up they are very secure. We could leave the dogs out and go watch the show or walk around and never worry about them getting out. Plus we made lots of new friends of the people who came by just to ask us where we got them etc. Great product! Highly recommend purchasing the bags to store them in.
