Perfect for a college student
Anon Mom ïß•January 26, 2018
I am a college student. I was tired of eating school cafeteria food and take out, but the microwaves at our school are very sub-par, and frankly... they are dirty. Anyways, I wanted a way that I could bring a hot, home cooked meal with me during the winter months. I have made my foods the week before and either refrigerated them or freezing them, and then using this beautiful little contraption to heat them up. If I thaw and refrigerate my meals, the HotLogic takes at most an hour to evenly heat my food, and even as little as 20 minutes. If I use frozen food, I am looking at about an hour and a half or two. To make it easy, some nights I throw my food in the crock pot to cook, and then pack my meal in a glass container in the morning to tote along. This has been such a money saver, and the food is tasting so much better!
Perfectly Cooked!!!!

This product is amazing! I read a lot of reviews before I got up the courage to buy it. I wasn't sure if it was as great as everyone said, until I ordered it. I used it for the first time today and it lives up to the 5 star reviews. My noodles weren't over cooked and my food was piping hot (not overly microwave hot). I absolutely hate microwaves, and now I'm ecstatic that I don't have to use it to heat up my lunch everyday. I get in the office at 7:30am each morning. Around 8am, I plugged in my HotLogic Mini and by 12:30 (lunchtime), my Lean Cuisine was convection oven perfection. It really is the best thing I've ever purchased online.
Good product. But broke with less than one year usage.

Ok first off. I love this product!!! I used it around 4 times a week for almost a year. I work in the transportation industry where a hot meal isnt always practical. But this changed everything!!! I probably turned 20 people onto this little gem . However just last week it stopped working. So while i do feel i got my monies worth out of the item.... I just cant give it five stars as I would have like it to last a little longer.
Also here are some of the best ways I have come to use this container wise....
Dollar tree -- Three individual foil containers for a buck. Good but you have to be carefull of steam as they so not seal 100%.
Glass pyrex -- Ok but very heavy. This is a hugh minus... If you are not returning home everyday. Also the lid will pop off slightly if you heat for a while.
The Best option by FAR!!!!
IKEA ceramic/plastic container with a lid that has pressure release built in. This was awesome it was a little bigger than the pyrex so you kind of have to pull the corners around the container but it works flawlessly. Completely water tight and very lightweight.

I am entirely satisfied with this personal heater! I've used it with so many different plastic containers and it works great. I usually just kind of time myself to the time I know I'm usually hungry. So I'll hook it up about 1 hour to 1 1/2 earlier. If I want my food really really hot I'll leave it on longer. Food comes right out hot and I've noticed it tastes really close to as if it was just made, I think it's because it's been heated slowly rather than nuked by a microwave. I haven't had an issue with any of he plastic containers melting, the only reason I say that is because I had another food heater that would melt them if I left them on too long. I've left my containers in this one for just as long and it hasn't melted any of them yet. I'm sure it's got to do with the material where the base is, it's not direct metal, it's like a coated hard plastic that seems to protect it. One thing I recommend while storing it, and this works for me because I have to move it around with me everyday for work and keep it inside a backpack, is to keep the cardboard it has inside of the pouch when opened from the box. I keep it so that it keeps a shape inside and doesn't get squished with the weight of anything from the top, it's basically like a nylon material, picture a small lunch bag, when empty it can be crushed inside. Although it's a soft material and probably won't damage anything I'd rather it not be smashed so I keep the cardboard to keep it sturdy from the inside. It seems to work out perfectly for me. Obviously if you don't need to be transporting it all the time like I do then you don't have to worry about it. I definitely recommend this to all my friends that bring food from home that DON'T have easy access to a microwave.
Happy wife 😊

I bought this for my husband. He was sick of sandwiches every day; so i found the hotlogic mini on Amazon, from that day on we are so happy he can eat fresh made food. Even if it's has been for a week on the freezer, it taste fresh.
He just grabs a frozen food and when he gets to his work, just plug it in, and eats whenever he gets hungry! No more cold food, he enjoys his frijolitos cubanos con lechon, or congris...😋😋
