I bought these hooks a few years ago and they've held up great! The only drawback is that the aluminum is soft enough that they can bend a bit if you apply enough pressure. But they've lasted me this long and it really hasn't been a problem :) just press them back into place if that happens.

Items received earlier than expected. These are good as backup hooks...not very high quality, but I didn't expect them to be. They do slide through yarn easily and are held as comfortably as my other hooks. They do bend easily...if working with tight stitching/thread, be aware of this! Other than that, these are a great value, would be extremely good for those learning to crochet and wanting to test the waters to make sure this hobby is to their liking.

I bought this specifically because another of my crochet sets didn't have all the sizes I needed for different crochet projects. This is a great value set with literally all the sizes you could possibly need! They were aesthetically pleasing with different colors and lightweight. I will warn that since they don't have any kind of ergonomic grip they are a bit difficult to hold after a while. Would still recommend to crochet lovers, though.

I think you just can't best the standard aluminum crochet hook. No padding that slides off etc. So if you need just a basic set of hooks this is for you. If you need cushioning then not so much. I like that they have the size in mm on them. That's much better for me as I've found the letter sizes are always the same size. Highly recommend.
