Was good for a while, then after a while it has broken. We called the number for the warranty and nobody has returned our calls. It looks like the warranty is useless. So if you buy it, intend on having to replace it out of pocket. BAD customer service. The "heavy duty" frame looks to be of similar quality to the zenius one that I had ordered for my niece's bed. So their definition of "heavy duty" is a bit dubious in my personal opinion. I no longer recommend this frame to anyone.

Purchased for king/my husband is over 6 feet 3 @ 300 lbs and he sleeps so comfortable now, this provides a firm foundation and he says his back feels good when he gets up now. Thanks! BTW, I weigh 160; combined almost 500 lbs. Yes I waited to provide review... just in case. And lets just say I am IMPRESSED

This was the perfect solution for our California King Size Bed. The wooden platforms had broken twice and finally could not be fixed. I researched Amazon and found this product and bought it right away after reviewing the reviews. I was sold on the fact that it took such little time to set up. Like unfolding the legs and interlocking some joints. Aligned the frames and they fit nicely. Perfect solution. Photo attached after set up.

I read a lot of the reviews and had doubts when i first ordered it. But after a few weeks of use, I can say this is such a great deal for the price.
It took all of about 5 minutes to assemble the bed and is easily done by one person. After assembly, it was easy to slide into place on my carpeted rug.
There are 12 supports (6 on each half), and after my first night using the bed, I was comfortable on it and can switch positions without fear of it collapsing. I have seen some people complain about squeaking. If there are any noises when I toss and turn, it's from the mattress moving a bit on the frame, and NOT the bed itself.
I thought when I saw the wire supports in the picture, that they looked flimsy and would probably bend as soon as I got in bed. I was so, so wrong. The "wires" are very sturdy and have not bent at all since I first started using the bed.
The "slats" across, the metal beams that go from side to side, are just as sturdy. I'm about 280 pounds, and this thing holds me with no problem.
The under bed storage space is nice, but the bracers that run from the corner legs to the beams can get in the way, if you try to slide a tall box underneath. Of course, the bed is not as heavy as you might think. You can always remove the mattress and just lift it up to access the storage more easily.
As a bonus, you can always remove the screws in the middle and have yourself two twin sized bed, for guests that need a place to sleep. Just pop on an inflatable mattress, and you're set. No, the frame will NOT pop an air mattress, as there are no real sharp points n the frame.
Overall, I am completely satisfies with my purchase of the bed, and would recommend it to anyone at this price.

New update: 2nd frame started squeaking and sagging big time. There is a huge dip from sleeping, I had to put some scrap wood I had on hand to prevent further dipping, but the wood wasnt meant for the purpose. Still recommend looking elsewhere, I am in the market for a new platform frame with more stability under high weight.

Update: this has been used for 4 months, currently- and the squeaking has NOT started thus far. I think using a wrench to tighten the [hand tighten] wing nuts made a big impact. The metal has warped slightly, but nothing drastic. I am going to continue using it for a while longer before I update my headline.

I went through and read up on many different bed frames that did not require a box spring, as I wanted the height, but ability to have some storage below. I am a big person, so when I saw the weight rating on this, figured It would be a long lasting item. After using it for 2 months, I realize many of the reviews are likely from recent purchasers that did not have a chance to break in the frame.

Here is my experience- positives: it was simple to assemble. It is lightweight so it was a one person job to do anything with it. It has space below that you can put baskets or boxes for some extra storage.

Negatives: one of the thin rods detached from the main part pf the frame. This happened on the side that my partner uses, and he is an average weight man. The support brackets are held on with wing nuts, and the wing nuts kept coming loose, causing the brackets to detach. The overall little thin rods and main frame, did not hold up to my weight. It started drooping and the boxes I am using for storage, would get stuck, even though they fit fine when I started using them. One last thing that is bringing me to leave this review, the frame squeaks. Terribly. It doesn't do it right away out of the box, but within a couple of weeks, it squeaks with every movement.

With the above information, I did try to contact the manufacturer about their "3-year warranty" via the email address they state to contact, with no reply within 10 days or so. Thankfully Amazon has amazing customer service and were able to exchange my frame for me, but I am pretty sure, I will encounter the same issues this time around.

I will likely be purchasing a different type bed and frame in a few months, due to this failure at providing the support needed.

Also, if you are heavy-set people, I would also suggest staying away from this. I am no where near the weight limit on this frame, but it should definitely hold up far better if it does allow 4000lbs evenly distrubuted weight (which it doesn't).
