Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. I bought a hybrid mattress which has coil springs and it really needs a flat piece of masonite board for support. Mattress slides around as there are no raised corners on the frame. Will either find some raised corner brackets to install or maybe some wide Velcro to for each corner. Somewhat disappointed about this mattress issue.
