This one is great too, consistently accurate and precise
Luke•June 27, 2017
I had the previous version of this scale, exactly the same except it had a very small, dime sized base which the small "dish" fit in. This one has a much appreciated larger base, which I measured to be just over an inch and a half in diameter. The old one, which I had for a few years was very dependable despite my not caring for it properly. This one is great too, consistently accurate and precise. When you measure at this scale there is usually some drift or small variance, these keep that at a minimum. I don't usually write reviews but I love these scales and had to respond to the top negative review I read saying theirs was inconsistent. Both of mine have been solid performers and I would recommend them to friends. I did the tests mentioned with multiple weights and it passed with flying colors!
Too tiny to be of any use.

The size dimensions of this scale are misleading. The actual size of the circular weight mechanism is approximately one inch in diameter. It is difficult to weight anything on this tiny base, especially if weighting powders or utilizing paper as the base for weighing. Any weighing is frustrating and torturous. The metal receptacle that is included is also difficult to utilize. It is very small, thin, unstable and difficult position on the small circular base. If your fingers are slim and comparable in size to a toddler's and you are possessed with extraordinary dexterity, then this is the appropriate scale for you.
Nice Little ACCURATE Scale

More accurate then my $170.00 OHAUS YJ103 Jewelry/Gold Scale, I compare the weights I was getting against the YJ103 Digital scale and my trusty OHAUS Made RCBS 10-10 Beam scale and the readings were close to perfect if you plan on using this to weigh in Grains for Reloading.
Now the reason I gave it only 4 Stars is because of two Minor things.
#1 It has no Built in Bubble level nor can you screw the 4 Pads/Feet on the bottom to make it level, which is a necessity if you want accuarte weights, I plan on buying a small piece of flat Marble Floor Tile from Lowe's or HD to set this little bugger on and to that I will install 4 little pads that can be adjusted in or out.
#2 The weighing area this scale is about 1.5" round (About The Size Of A Checker Game Piece) which has a stamped impression in it the size of a Quarter, which is just big enough for the TINY TINY pan they include in the box,
I tried to use the Bigger Plastic Pan that came with my OHAUS and it fit but was unstable because of the recessed stamped impressing in the middle, I found that if you moved it (Bigger Pan) a tiny bit the readings were all over the place, So I'm going to search and see if I can find a nice little pan that will fit so I can Trickle Powder into it.
Other then that this little scale is worth every Penny of the $16.00 I paid, In fact I wish I would have purchased this Brand instead of the JUNK OHAUS I'm now stuck with and DO NOT TRUST.

Impressively accurate and easy to use.

I use this scale for measuring powder charges for reloading. I have a electronic dispenser with a scale and two different reloading mfg'r beam scales. I measured my first 200 loads using this scale as verified against those other scales and this scale was always accurate. I can trickle powder and the scale will move. As some have noted the native resolution is converted to grains so the display will resolve to 0.02 grains when trickling powder. My only gripe is the auto-off is a little quick but if you're moving loading rounds- I can throw a charge with a powder drop (under by 0.5gr), then trickle in the final weight without it turning off. I cant seat a bullet in that time though. Honestly wasnt expecting it to work as good as it has and I love the 0.02gr resolution for dialing in my powder charges.
Not milligram accurate but good price and very convenient
Dave Anderson•October 18, 2016
The last digit of precision is pure noise, so no this is not milligram accurate. It also has a tendency to drift such that the longer an item sits on the scale the heavier it gets for about a minute. I kept the scale because it's a good price and it's very convenient for measuring small amounts after it's warmed up for a few minutes. Other scales have to have a minimum weight before they start measuring so if your okay with that stick with a 0.01g accurate scale.
