Wrap is very sturdy and definitely stays in place
Steve &Vicki Sepulveda✓ Verified Purchase•January 26, 2018
We bought this wrap because our pool cover kept blowing off during windy days. I was a little skeptical buying it in the beginning because I didn't think it would hold up, but I was definitely wrong. This wrap is very sturdy and I am definitely pleased with it. I will Be definitely purchasing it again next fall. Thank you.
Holding Up

Holding like it's supposed to. Follow the instructions and you'll have no issues. I tied it off at the filter and then started wrapping it around my pool making sure it was as tight as possible and tied it off (wrapped it) around the existing wrap. We've had some wind here in Maryland, some rain and snow and I haven't had any issues at all. If it holds up then I'll buy from them again next year, if not then I'll update this.
Better Idea

It didn't work. It is still around the pool, but the cover slipped right out from under it. I think if we would have built a lattice of rope over the pool cover and then used it, that would have helped. We do get high winds, so I did give this item a decent rating. It is still in place, just the cover isn't ;)
Don't waste your money!

I was pretty excited at first. My husband who is a big strong man, put this on with my assistance. We followed all the directions precisely. I thought this was finally the solution to the pool cover not coming off. It looked great and was tight. HOWEVER, the first 15 MPH wind lifted it right off and it was TIGHT! Now I have to find another solution. If you choose to buy this, I would suggest not following the directions and and putting it NOT on the top but halfway down the pool wall where the wind can't get under it. I would try it now, but I am not rebuying this product as I believe their instructions were to blame. I now have ropes on the bottom and top of my cover and hopefully that will work!
Did not have high expectations, BUT...

So I waited a couple of months before writing this review, because honestly I did NOT have high expectations.
Two of us wrapped the pool and it took about 7 minutes. Our pool is an ultra frame intext pool, 16 feet around and this product went around at least 4 times, maybe even 5. I really thought it was going to be a waste of time. About 2 weeks after we wrapped the pool, we had a storm with wind gusts up to 60mph; we lost many shingles off oir roof, but the wrap stayed intact!! We live on top of a hill with nothing to break the wind. We did start on the top rail with about 4 inches overlapping on the inside of the pool; we lowered the wrap down the side of the pool as went. We ended up with it about halfway down the side of the pool by the time we finished. We did pull it kinda tight, but not so tight it would rip. I bought 2 rolls, but 1 was sufficient for our size pool.
Here we are 2 months later, and its still going strong. I absolutely cannot believe it.
