This product is amazing to say the least. I had a guy Jack Hammer for 5 hours with very little progress.
I paid him $300.00 for the rental and his time and still had a concrete stoop. I rented a Hammer drill for 2 hours and bought Dex Pan. 24 hours later I had large chunks of concrete that a skid loader can picked up and hauled away.
Total cost: $200.00 . A $300.00 loss using the Jack Hammer and Labor.

Used to breakup large rock. Could only drill 1in. Diameter holes spaced about 6 in apart and 7 in deep. Directions called for 1 and a half inch diameter holes a foot deep but 1 in diameter holes work if more closely spaced. I filled 9 holes with half a bag of Dexpan. More work required to separate fractured. Follow the directions and Dexpan works.

Needed to remove about 25 sq ft (surface area) of partially buried granite ledge. Worked as it cracked the ledge into roughly one foot square pieces. However, it took 4-5 days to work to completion. Likely due to the cooler temperature of 30-40 F (I did use the #3 type) and that I drilled 7/8" holes (easier/quicker to do) instead of the recommended 1 1/2". An excellent solution and will use it again when the need arises.
