Works like a charm, reduces possible contamination

This water filter adapter works like a charm. I went with my son and our scout troop backpacking in the Uinta Mountains in Utah, and brought this adapter to make refilling our water bladders easier with my Sawyer Mini. The adapter made it much easier to refill without opening the bladder, reducing possible contamination. I used it many times a day for a week, and never had a problem. Sawyer makes high quality products, so I'm not surprised. Cleaning it was as simple as soaking it in bleach, and letting it air dry. Sawyer is my go to for water filtration needs.

If you have an Osprey Hydration Pack, get the Osprey Brand quick connect kit! No modifications needed. It's essentially the same as this Sawyer one, only it'll will fit the Osprey tube and comes with extra tubing that will work with your Sawyer mini.

This kit adds a level of configuration to your filter and hydration pack that is nice to have in the field. You can move, reroute and use your bite valve and tubes for other means of filtering water into varios instances of different containers and even make a splice repair if needed.
As with adding any flexibility it adds complexity to a system it pays to also consider failure... don't hesitate to find a few oring spares if required.
An update on this... I bought a second set of these to add to what I can do with my filter set without having to screw and unscrew caps for other uses. This allows gravity feeding and transferring water to other containers with ease.

Nice kit for modifying your hydration system. Seems to be a standard fit with current quick connects.

I bought this kit to mod my hydration system on my backpack. These adapters are compatible with my gravity filter. On my last trip, I was able to refill my hydration bladder without removing it from my pack or unscrewing the cap. I'm quite pleased with the result.
I actually only needed the male and female adapters, but I'm sure I'll find a good use for the third piece with the bottle screw cap. Interestingly, this kit was cheaper than the male/female adapters on their own. :)

Works great with the sawyer filters and platypus water containers. A real time saver if you do a lot of hiking as you no longer have to snake the tube out of your backpack and take it with the container to the water source. It also saves having to open the container and risk other sources of contamination getting in the container. Fill you sawyer bag, screw this cap on to the end of the filter and snap the other end to the platypus or camelback and squeeze the sawyer bag to refill your container without opening. When your done, just slide the full bag back in your pack and attach the drinking hose with the bite valve back up and your rolling again.
