This is the first deer call I have purchased. A friend told me I should get an Illusion deer call. I watched the dvd and figured I would give it a try. I got home last week about 8pm and saw a doe with an older fawn walking down my field. I ran and grabbed my new deer call and adjusted it to the fawn call. I did call a few times as the deer headed into the woods. The doe paid attention to the call. I let her go back to feeding and called again. She jumped the fence and I ended up calling her within 15 feet of my hiding spot. I have pictures to prove it. I was amazed! It works awesome!

The Illusion Extinguisher Deer Call is quite simply a work of art and a quality product all around, straight out of the package. Oklahoma's archery season runs from Oct. 1 to Jan. 15. We can take 2 bucks, 5 doe and my freezer needs fill'n so it's going to get a real good field test. I will post an update (or two) to this review during and after the 2017-18 season.

This thing is incredible. Go it last season and watched some videos on the different types of calls i could do. I used this to call in several deer on the first day and it is very fun to watch how the deer react to different calls. Use the fawn in distress will call in a doe almost every single time i use this. The other thing that works well is the ability to easily paint a scenario of a buck tending a doe simply by using the slide to change the call. more than the veraatility of this geunt though is just the quality of the sound. It is more realistic sounding than other call i have used or heard. It is also very loud compared to my other calls so a deer will be able to hear this across a nice large meadow or over all the squirells and birds you typically hear in the early mornings during the fall hunts. I used to use the estrus can for the rut (with success) but i always felt like that was too quiet especially on a windy or noisy day. The calume of the estrus bleat on this is great so i know i will only have to use the call once and it will reach a large area around me.

Best deer call on the market by far. I've used a lot of different deer calls. The extinguisher is a must have for any hunter who wants to call in more mature deer and even does. Literally been hunting all season and not two many deer responded to my other calls. Had the extinguisher for literally only 3 weeks and called three different mature bucks within 60 yards of me. I was pulling it out of my pocket one time and it came apart is the only bad thing. I emailed the company and they are sending me the bad. That's goes around the reed. Great company. Made in the states and the best deer call on the market no doubt. If you ain't got this bad boy in your pack get one ASAP! Literally the baddest deer call you can buy. Trust me I know the commercials are overwhelming and look skeptical and no grunting on this thing isn't gonna automatically kill you a 200 inch deer but if one comes near you you will want this thing. It works and it is legit. I SWEAR! Good luck

This call worked really well for me. The first day I hunted with it I didn't see anything, I tried some blind calling but no luck. The second time I hunted with this call was a evening hunt. It was just about dark and I seen a deer step out into the field to my left about 150 yards or so away. I was able to call him all the way over to me within about 35 yards using some doe in estrus calls. The only thing I have noticed to far is that from time to time you have to slide it up and down to get it to work but its not that big of deal. It really helped me seal the deal on this nice 10 pointer!
