Very Quiet

There have been questions posted about the noise level. The fan itself is virtually silent. Any noticeable sound appears to be a result of the air rushing through the duct (pipes). Keep in mind the more air you move the more noise you may hear. Installations that allow a lot of air movement will be slightly more noticeable.
Metal mounting bracket is a bit flimsy but certainly not worth worrying about.
If using 4 inch schedule 20 ( thin wall pipe) rubber boots will be a bit loose. Add an adapter bushing to get OD up to 4.5 inches for best fit.
Works great, hardest part is running the ventilation pipe

The review for the RP145 fan and installation kit is pretty straight forward. The fan works as described and really pulls lots of air. Please note the install instructions and the relative CFM vs your vacuum reading. My sub slab condition was not ideal, with mostly compacted sand. I removed around 8-10 gallons of dirt below my slab. If I have issues in the future I will remove the pipe and try to remove even more dirt below the slab.

For my installation, I ran a 4" ABS pipe from the slab and converted to 3" ABS from the basement up through a non-used furnace vent for my chase, all the way up to the attic (2 story house with a basement) and installed the RP145 fan in the attic space terminating the 3" ABS above the roofline by approx. 2 ft using the old furnace chimney cap. The current reading on the vacuum gage is around 1.5-1.6 which is near the limit of the RP145, so please make sure you check this.

The install kit comes with 4" couplings, so if you are running 3" lines you will need to purchase 3" to 4" conversion couplings as well.

My initial radon reading was around 8.4-9.2 depending. After 72 hours it was down well below the recommended limit of 4.0pcl. My readings are fluctuating around 3.0 right now but have had really strange weather in Colorado which does affect radon levels.
Easy to install

I installed my radon system myself. This kit was very helpful in which I didn't have to order all different pieces. Fan seems to be doing its job. Easy to install.
Wonderful replacement

Our old Radon pump died in the subzero cold this winter. My husband was able to install this one with the power cord we purchased within a half hour. The pressure levels are better now than we've had been over the last 4 years.
Reduced my basement Radon from 8.51pCi/L to less than 0.02 pCi/L

I'm shocked at how well this performs, my basement Radon went from 8.51pCi/L to less than 0.02 pCi/L (checked using a digital radon meter from Amazon too, 1 week before and 1 week after). I was initially concerned it wouldn't pull much of a vacuum for the size of my basement slab, but seems to be working just fine at 1.1". This unit is mounted outside, and all I did was add a sump cover to my sump pit.
