I didn't read the description carefully as I expected whole beans but I got ground coffee. That's my mistake but not the reason for the three stars.

I like the idea of having a crap ton of caffeine in my coffee. For me, the more the better. I am not a chemist or whatever, so I cannot verify their claims about being the world's strongest coffee. I drink a lot of caffeine and am usually constantly caffeinated--for good or ill--so I couldn't tell if there was a difference in this and other brands I use. If you don't drink as much caffeine as me, your experience may differ.

This gets three stars because I simply did not like the taste. For reference, when I go into a local coffee shop, I order an americano or an espresso. I may add a dollop of honey or a bit of splenda but I'll also have it black. All that to say, I like the taste of coffee. I didn't really like the taste of Death Wish. It just wasn't for me hence the three stars. Taste is subjective so your miles may vary.

I thought the packing was well done and it sealed right back up after my initial use.

This has an excellent taste. As for being the Worlds Strongest Coffee? Not in my opinion. Says 2 1/2 tablespoons for 6 oz is 400mg of Caffeine. First cup was just that. No caffeine rush. Second cup was 4 tablespoons with 8 oz. Got a small caffeine rush, just a small one that lasted about 30 minutes. Either this Company pays for fake reviews or the people posting are light weights.
Good taste #1 Caffeine rush# 0. Guess I'll go back to Eight -O-Clock coffee. Taste pretty good for less money too

I was super excited to try this coffee but was let down by the hype of it all. I'm not a "coffee snob" but I do love coffee. Honestly, for the "strongest" coffee, this is not very strong. Folgers bold is just a step below this in my opinion. It's kind of like getting those sour candies and you put it in your mouth expecting to die and it's not sour at all.. yeah that's what happened with this coffee. It IS however not a BAD coffee. I'll finish out the bag for sure. But strongest? Nah.
On a side note, the packaging and sticker are pretty cool

Some reviews described Death Wish coffee as being "smooth with no bitter after taste". While I enjoy strong coffee and I do like this one, I don't find it to be "The world's strongest coffee" as stated on the label, and I do find it has a somewhat bitter aftertaste. I have now tried both the K-cup and made the ground coffee using paper filtered cone and find them pretty much equal in the resulting quality. To sum up: Death Wish is pretty much to my liking but I have found other dark roasts I like as well - Jet Fuel comes immediately to mind - which are less expensive.

Got this several weeks ago. Finished the first pot and then rebuilt the motor in my Chevelle. While it was running. While riding my Harley. And reloading ammo. Wife wanted a cup but the coffee maker jumped off the counter, beat the refrigerator like a JV wrestler and then ran off yelling something about destroying ISIS. 12/10 will purchase again.
